Bournemouth Athletic Club was formed in 1906 and has remained a prominent sporting club in the town for the majority of its existence. At Bournemouth Athletic Club we welcome people of all ages and abilities. We are based at the Kings Park Athletic Centre, Bournemouth, and offers training and competition at all levels in Track & Field, Cross-Country and Road Running.  Click Here for Map.

Facilities include all-weather 8 lane track, club room, cafe, separate throw areas, cross country course, weights room, physiotherapist, large covered stand, changing room and showers.  Equipment provided for training and competition

BAC, competing as a composite team with Poole Runners, won this fixture with 388 points, beating Oxford (356 points), Bracknell (311.5) and Kingston Poly (148.5).

In this first fixture of the season for this league, BAC finished 3= with Team Dorset.

Club Presentation Night
In addition to the trophies referred to, the President's Award for outstanding contribution to the club, in particular in developing the Road and Cross-Country section went to Jon Sharkey (click Here for Photo), and the President awarded the Carslake Trophy for outstanding loyalty to the club to Simon Armstrong.
